People need to be aware that the rebate is only good for two days, only good if you buy the case today or tomorrow. 12-13 Sept 2007

another warning. My wifes pc is in this case.

Cooling is mediocre at best and the way in which the sides lift off annoys me to no end. You have to remove the top with (2) thumbscrews, and then the sides lift up and off. It's just a little pet peeve, but I wish in hindsight I would have gotten something else

Your wife's case is probably one of the Antec NSK's that looks like a Solo but is quite different. Solo belongs to the Sonata family, and has fixed top panel. Solo is much better than either NSK or Sonata. Both Solo and its white twin P150 are well designed and built. Although they may not be the best choice for overclocking, they are nontheless solid, stylish, relatively cool and most of all, quiet. To top it off, Antec rebates are super easy to get (this will be my 8th Antec enclosure rebate, not counting the ones on PSU's). Thanks, OP.

HAWTTT!!!!!

Running one right now, extremely well built and quiet case. In for another. Missed out on that P150 deal a couple of weeks back, but definitely got in on this one. Thanks OP!

Awesome. I'm in. Thanks for posting this. I noticed they now offer in store pickup for $0 shipped which is pretty cool for anyone who has a local store (and has to pay taxes).

I get this message for in store pickup:

"available in San Francisco Bay Area Stores only"

I saw this early yesterday and have been debating whether I should replace my crappy Foxconn case with it.

But the shipping is $23 for me and the total after rebate comes to about $51....

Wow. Are you sure you don't have 2 day shipping selected? I know it often defaults to that. Just change to ground shipping.

This is a good deal even without rebate because it's already $20 cheaper than Newegg. I love the case - have two of them and they are well ventilated and very easy to build a really quiet computer inside of it. Quality is top notch too. Just get a quiet PSU to go with it and two quiet 92mm fans for the front.

Yup, what msi1337 described is NOT the Solo. The cooling is pretty decent on the Solo and the case sides have two captive thumb screws. Undo them and the side panels pivot outwards, hinging at the front panel. Once you swing them out a little bit, they can be removed. Very easy.

I may have to get a third Solo. :Q A trio of solos.

From what I've read people from California are getting charged $23 for shipping.

In CA too, and got hit with the $23.24 shipping. Came out to 111.75 shipped - 60.00 rebate = $51.75 AR.

Shipping hurts the deal a bit, but for $51 you can't get a better case.

Yup. Tin foil thin, but I bought it, it is reasonably quiet and now I get to live with it for another 3 years...
