Sounds to me like they are listing the after rebate price as the before rebate price. Lots of retailers on froogle have this printer listed for ~$300 but when you go to the retailer page the rebate is included in the price (IE "price is after rebate") Of course no harm going for it I suppose, but I wouldn't want the hassle if they ending up charging you the "real" price or whatever.

you gotta choose economy shipping.
i think it defaults to regular ground ship but you have to click ECONOMY

I don't think that is the case. The pending charge on my credit card is only $288.

Ack, I did! But I didn't press "Update" after that, I just submitted it with the button marked.

I did the same thing, and can't log into cliason.com to cancel order, and their phone says they are closed for the holiday.

I can't login to that customer service thing either. It will probably take a couple hours for them to transmit that info.

As for the Shipping, if you clicked on the economy shipping and confirmed your order, it should be fine, because there is no "Update" button. There is an update button only for the changing the quantity.

In for one, been wanting a good network laser printer for my home office...-$12 is a great price for me. 🙂

awesome!!! im in.
but can somebody tell me why this cost over 500 bux at newegg.com???
i got my Brothers 1440 laser printer, 2 years ago for only 90 bux.

I asked the Lexmark rebate center about this and they said you would only get the cost of the printer if its price was less than the rebate amount, not the full $300. So don't count on making money from the rebate.

They also said they're researching the "one rebate per model per name" terms since their copy of the rebate only said "one rebate per name" and it meant one or the other printer. It will take 3-5 days for an answer.

Why does someone always have to call. When will people learn not to upset the apple cart

because people don't want to be screwed after the fact.
