The link still works but I don't see it advertised on the home page of Coolerguys. It is still
advertised under Custom Cases. 3hr sale maybe last 24 hrs? :)

wow, nice deal. comes with a side window and thumb screws (a couple minor but nice extras). UPS ground shipping to Virginia is ~ $14. So $43 total.

two concerns:
1. in the description, it mentions "This case also features two internal fans" but under specifications there is no mention of them.
2. in the description, the case weighs "under 10 pounds" but the shipping weight is "15 pounds." that pisses me off

Great find; have been looking for a case for my Son-in-Law. This will be perfect for him. They also had cold cathodes on clearance for 4.95 so I ordered one of these. SkyHawks have a pretty good rep and this is indeed Al.

Its a good deal, but does it come with a Power supply?

A power supply is pretty expensive

What are they trying to tell me, that they think they can add some "extra" charge on to this total?

No, I believe they are saying that it may actually cost $9 to ship but the extra 1.89 or whatever may be handlind charges. Hmmm, I just ordered the case and some Lian faceplates for another system. Cathode prices are pretty cheap thou. FYI $9.17 to ship to Ca for me.

I would doubt that it comes with a Power supply since they don't mention it specifically.

I agree that it is not the best looking case but I can live with it for the price. :)

Add the box and screws plus packing materials. Don't know that it necessarily adds 5 extra pounds, but maybe.

It would say so if it did. For that price, I'm not surprised that it doesn't.

Manufacturer link
imo the blue and plain silver looks much better than the black one from CoolerGuys...
mayube u can call in and ask for different color?...

just an fyi,...i have this case but the steel version, not aluminum.
Problem i had with it was i have a large heatsink/fan on a xp1600+ on a abit kg7...
after installing the psu, the top of the heatsink clip touches the power supply...
meaning the head clearance between mobo and psu is not much so if u have
a large heatsink cooler or a bulky psu...it might be a problem. just something to watch out for.
Here is my case. If u look at the manufacturer link above,
its the one all to the left hand side, above the one that CoolerGuy is selling.

Is yours the

"New and Improved: This case is now much larger to handle 90% of all ATX motherboards with interfering with drive bays. We also added our in our Custom Clear-View window to show off the inside of your case."

as stated in the description?

Good deal for $29.

Slycat...I agree with you... the other mid tower skyhawk does look a touch nicer...so I emailed the coolerguys asking about a switch...its no big deal but it never hurts to ask. I figure this color did not sell as well and that is the reason these are 29!!

oh and thanks to you TheBloodguard

Hey, the 5 pund box and packing slip will get you every time!

My biggest concern is that fact that we can't see inside the case. I won't purchase any case that does not have a fan in front of the hard drives in order to keep them cool. This will add quite a bit of life to the drive and the drive will operate better. I wish they did something like NewEgg and gave all the photos!

Ordered this yesterday and came home and here it is. Woodenville is not really far from Yakima but regular ground was certainly the way to go when you are this close.

Case is very light; definately not heavyweight AL; Edges are rounded and looks very clean inside. Seems about average size for a Mid Tower. Comes with a front 80mm fan and rear 60mm. Big easy to see through window. Came with enough hardware for two builds. For 29$ it is a bargain. Cold Cathode light is very bright and comes with velcro to attach or hardware if you want to drill a hole in your case.

Think they got a good replacement plan??? I got their jupiter and its not a perfect square adn so if i ever touch the case the wrong way ^_^ the video card starts makin this odd noise and i have to adjust it to quiet the thing. The I/O plate doesnt really go in all the way as well so im figuring its a little off center. And no i didnt damage the case myself.

No PS correct? I expect mine Monday according to the tracking. They gave me two tracking numbers so I assume they are shipping my Lian Li faceplates separately but not sure why.

Those Skyhawks with the 60mm rear exhaust aren't the best, and the PSU mounting holes are upside down....made me kinda mad, but managed to rig something out of it. Nice price, you guys...I got one for $60 when it was on sale. Note the front exhaust slot does nothing at all because there are no airholes to allow new air going into the case, so when you put a fan there it's really just recycling the air there :(

No Psu. Still an excellent bargain; I will add another fan to the rear and put the puter together an sen it to my Son-in-Law.
