Dead Sharks?

Happened in Florida, and they say it was red tide. Red tide is a term used to describe a proliferation of a reddish-brown algae that sometimes grows dense in the waters of Florida. It is poisonous to marine life. I'm surprised it was only sharks this time.

These things mostly come down to leaching of nutrients from the soil through too much irrigation & leaching of nutrients because of farmers using too many fertilisers. This causes too many nutrients in the sea & then the buildup of Alge, hence the read tides.

Basically there's to many bloody people & too much development on the planet. Really once humans start to have a negative effect on Air quality, water quality, biodiversity & the top soil, we become cancers to the natural balance of the planet, & these things happen. Apparently we are now causing extinctions a 1000 times faster than species could adapt to cope with our destructive ways.

The only problem is that shark populations are already way down from overfishing and just outright killing because idiotic fishermen think they hurt "their" fish stocks.

With them killing dolphins, swordfish, sharks, turtles, and various other animals, I think it's about time we start dragging fishermen on deck, whacking their limbs off, then throwing them into the water. Ignorant morons. :|

Actually it was thresher shark which is very common here on the west coast, fun to catch good to eat. 🙂
