can i be safe in assuming that if I choose 5-9 day shipping that it will take at least 5 days? i'm not going to be back in town until monday...

Yes these cans are better than the 280;s or the 555's. More spatial.

Not they are not better than the 580's with an amp. I think the 580's would take them without an amp with a high-end computer and a decent sound card.

What if you added an amp to them? Would they be the equal of the 580?

I just ordered them after reading the GLOWING recommendations here

Right now I'm using my Kenwood KPM-610. Anyone how much better they'll be?

By the way, I scored them for $99.99 shipped and no tax (after -$30 deal).

Also, these are supposed to be some of the most comfortable headphones out there (which is why I'm tempted to get them). But my 555's are already on the way and I have 280's now. Hmmm..... what to do, what to do.
