With the MIR, it must be old stock. Even so it's a helluva deal!

With Newegg, it's luck of the draw. Probably just a special New Year's Eve sale. If Newegg has the photos up of the newest generation (they do), then it's either mixed stock or all new stock. Turnover rate is too high at Newegg and I highly doubt that they would separate stock, especially with the same sales barcode.

I gave in ....:(

I should be happy but I'm sad and torn (want to cancel but want to keep it too)....

Edit: I just cancelled. As much as I "want" this, I don't "need" it and my stack of bills to pay off in January and February is quite large right now (including $4,500 of daughter's tuition). There will be another time and place for a deal.....right now isn't the time.

daughter can get student loans like most of us did, builds character.

This will build a nice rig.

LOL, daughter is doing just fine (partial scholarship, worked for last 3 years (since turning 16) and buys pretty much everything for herself including her Jeep payment and half of her insurance, all of her clothing, etc.). I vowed to pay her education and I will.

Oh, and I could get this but I am just a tight ass. Besides, I haven't even set the new build (using X650 bought a few months ago) into place yet, lol. Still sitting in my daughter's room where I built it.

Do you mean tight wad? :)

Anyway no need to explain it. Sounds like you're set in the power supply department.

Just bought an X650 last week for about the same price, sans MIR. Definitely don't need more wattage, but might've sprung for this if timing had been right...nice PSUs either way, and a great deal on this one!

Means the same thing. I speak Appalachian American (aka - hillbilly)!

I'm still debating getting this or not.....wish it would go out of stock so I can have a moment of regret for not getting it and then a joy of saving the money over the long run! :awe:

@ $90 it's NEVER been less. Just buy it, you can always dump it on ebay...for a profit. Everyone knows that every enthusiast needs at least two psu's.

I have 2 Corsair 400W units and one Antec 520W unit new in the box now as spares, lol!

Edit: Damn hot deals forums and sites cost me more than they save. Throw in the higher "fiscal cliff" taxes too! :p

Funny how the "next' build always starts with some peculiar HOT DEAL. Seems like the psu and dimms always top the list. Never the seemingly more logical cpu or case.

i was just joking around. Glad some people got a few laughs. I am glad your daughter is doing well and seems to be mature for handling so much. You're a good father. I should add a wiseass comment about adopting me since an X650 would be a good new year's present.

2 kids, 2 dogs and 1 wife (that wants a new house - argh - no new house payment for me) is enough!
