All of us in electronic manufacturing know that Tawian is way better than China for quality.

Im not sure if the post was a typo?

But generally speaking all the other countries electronic manufaturing like the philipines , singapore , malaysia...

have a higher overall percentage of good boards(less rejects and failures) than China

so you have a higher percentage chance that you will get a good , problem free drive from

anywhere else.

Couldn't find my coupon... bummer! Just bought 22 of them. Nice deal. Found it on FatWallet before they were OOS online so I picked up 10 then and the rest in-store. Cheers!

Actually I think I've got use for em all... I was just about to go and get a bunch of 80gb drives - literally getting ready to get the credit card and found that deal on FatWallet. I was like "Whoa! I'll do that!" I just wish I had another grand to spare right now. I'd get another 20. Too good to pass up. :) You miss out?

What do you do with all of them?

Why would you spend $40 on a 120gb drive when you can get 160gb drives for $29.99 after rebate every week???

I'm guessing some of you dont even have a checking account lol.

Because you can't get a 160gb drive for $30 every day. And some people value time and price now opposed to later. I know for a fact I'm bad with rebates. For that reason I will pay a little more to ignore the rebate.

LOL. I ordered 3 online without the coupon, then went to B&M and got 3 more...again without the coupon. I could have gotten an extra 20 bucks off if i'd stopped and thunk about it. :(. I was thinking of returning the ones I ordered online, but I guess I can resell hem.

Ok I used the coupon last night to get 7 of them...But the coupon only worked on 1 of them. Is that wrong? I thought people were able to use the coupon for all of them, or as many as you wanted to buy.

Amazing that I've been here all these years and have missed those 160GB drives for $29.99 AR every week!

If anyone doesn't mind the rebates (yikes 3 of them) and only needs one drive, CompUSA has the 160GB Seagate for $39.99 AR this week. 304907.

I picked mine up last night, good thing I pre-ordered. They didn't have any more on the shelf at the location I went to.

I haven't checked the model yet, either way it's a good price since there are no rebates involved.

The reason why I'd get this over one with a rebate is that the rebates take so long to come and you're not even guaranteed that you'll get it. This price is out the door.
