wont buy seagate again, the 750gb i had clicked like a 1980s Big Foot hard drive and turns out thats how those hard drives were supposed to click. back to Western Digital :p

I'm guessing they're clearancing them out?

I got 4 last week and got 1 more. Would've been nice to get a price match, but oh well.

There is a list of what drives are affected and how you can check. Hopefully we all got a good batch!

If the firmware on the drive label shows "CC1H" like mine did from a similar dell deal from 1.5 months ago then it should be fine. IIRC, from what I've read, any of the CCxx firmware are not affected. I would definately check to verify your particular drive still.
