Fry's seems to have fixed their servers for now. Showing up and adding to the cart properly (YMMV).

Dang, this is tempting.
This is going to run ~$60 shipped for me, which still isn't too bad a deal.
My only issue is that it's a Maxtor (even though technically it's a Seagate) & that's the only hdd i've had problems with. Of course this was many years ago & their customer service was top-notch then.

Folks should buy online. Went to two Fry's @ 4am. Long line with over 400 people. Your chance of getting a good deal is probably less than 1% since they will only allow a few in at a time. Probably a lot of Fleabay scums at the front of the line.

Alright, am now able to place an order, but they've changed the limit from 4 to 2. Anyways, thanks OP.

I went ahead & bought one. Couldn't find any better deals.
I hope they're made better than they used to be.

I tried and tried last night but can't go past placing the items in the cart and after that it just freezes! Now I came back this morning and all the SATA's are gone! Well, maybe next time!

SR good deal.. How did you do it?

More details please?

BBF

There's a web coupon from Office Max...$10 off $20 (check Fat Wallet). OD will accept this coupon. I price-matched to my local Fry's ($50 good till 11/27). $16.40 is my OD reward earned last quarter. You should be able to PMed to the web or B&M to get the price down to $50, then apply the $10 coupon for $40 plus tax.

These units are 7200.10 (perpendicular recording technology). Combo of made in China/made in Thailand. My unit comes from Thailand with 16MB cache. Quiet drive.

My order got cancelled. :|

Went to check status and all items shipped except for these two drives, listed as cancelled. Of course they list the same drives as in stock right now... at $109.

I ordered 4 of these on Nov 22 and got an email saying I will receive an order number and order tracking information in a couple hours, but never heard back from them since. Called in today and they said my order did not process and they're out of stock and there's nothing they can do?
