How's performance compared to the 4870 1GB and GTX260+? This may be an attractive card for those of us with only one PCI-E x16 slot.
 
That link is to the 2gb model,the 1gb model is a bit slower in some instances lower core and memory clocks but im pretty sure it will beat a 4870 1gb and a gtx 260 pretty good in games that scale,ones that dont not so much
 
i dunno why i didn't see it posted anywhere, but the 2gb gddr5 version was only $250 after rebate a couple of weeks ago. but it was oos when i saw it so who knows if newegg actually sold any at that price.
 
Looks like a great performer based on that FS review, with complaints only about excessive fan noise and its 11.5" length (might have a problem in my case with that). Wonder if new drivers have addressed the fan speed issue yet...?
 
i'm tempted too... does anyone know what version of powerDVD this comes with or if the version that comes with it supports Blu-ray?
