How does this burner compare to the SH-S203B & N burners (speed aside)? I bought the 203B because of the excellent write quality...just wondering if newer models are as good or better.

that depends on what firmware you use on it. the hacked ST00 firmware is the best one to date for it. look here for some scans and opinions on it i have owned it for over a month and love it. not one bad burn to date on a little over 30 burns.

EDIT: Deal is up now, but there's an error. The page says "reduced from $25.99 to $21.99" but the price is still $25.99. I would have bought a few.
