I can't get into the nuances of the various "colors" of Cherry MX switches, other than to say that this one has the "Cherry MX Red" switches.

Cheapest (AR) mech. keyboard that I think I've ever seen, though.

Edit: Another deal!

bump for additional deal, same keyboard, different model (black switches), $5 cheaper AR than the original deal.

From the description you dont' want black for general typing; you want red, brown or (if you lick noise) blue. I *think* (someone correct me if I am wrong) brown gives you mroe tactle feeback - good for typist and red is better for games ?

I don't see any special additional customization keys that would make it a "gaming" keyboard... But great price for mechanical one, never seen this low...

I have the RK-9100 with Cherry Blues, and I love it. Three levels of backlighting on the keys, 2 USB ports (perfect for wireless mouse, accessories). Excellent construction except for the legs that prop up the back. One broke and cannot be replaced; I managed to glue it back together and it's holding for now. All in all, excellent value for a mechanical.

$89.99 and $129.99? Ouch. Deal is dead. (Guess this was a pretty hot deal, when it was live. Too bad, I had already purchased three Gamdias Hermes 7-Color Mech. keyboards, with imitation "blue" keyswitches, for ~$45 ea.)
