did you manage to get one?

I made pulled pork in mine and it was impressive. The GF wants me to make ribs and my co-worker wants me to make rice pudding.

Yeah, as soon as I got back home and saw balloonshark's reply, I ordered it that second.

I wasn't going to miss out on it twice. :)

It will arrive on Thursday, so I'll probably make a pot roast or something on Sunday. :)

Got my drive today, and I guess I missed that there was a "frustration free" version and a standard version. Although I think this version would protect it better in shipping because the cardboard is very rigid, what does it say about our society if people struggle to open a standard SSD box? ;)

The standard version did not have the 45.00 off.
I tried to order the std version and it was 184.99 with no discount.

I see. I honestly just didn't realize they offered this version until it arrived today. :)

I got the drive installed, and it's a speedy drive.

My only gripe is the Crucial Storage utility. It's very bloated compared to Samsung Magician (178 MB vs. 28 MB). Plus, I flashed it to the newest firmware using that utility, and selected the option where it restarts the computer and does it outside of Windows, and after it finished it notified me the update completed successfully, and would restart the PC. However, it caused my computer to freeze. I had to manually power it down with the power button, and it started up fine after that.

I think in the future when there is a firmware update, I will try to do it within Windows and hope it works better. I never had a system hang updating firmware with Samsung Magician over 6 years of using it.

Good input. $140 is great. I payed $165 & got $5 back when I bought a $25 gift card so that helps. Still a great price compared to all others.I also bought (2) 250gb's for family at $50 & $55 each. The prices were bouncing around.
Whoever got the 2TB at $319, nice! It's back at $400+
I read some comments about 20% off with an amex card, that would be cool.

I noticed that recently, Newegg had that drive for $189 on a more regular "sale" price. How long before $149 is the regular, everyday price? 3-4 months? I'm sure we'll see it again on BF.

Year ago i got instant pot ultra 8 quart 10 in 1? 100$ shipped 8 quart but huge dent in the back (said blemish or something heh) but dent has no effect on the cheesecakes i make with it. Very good, tri tip so good wish for some more good things to make with it but wife does most teh cooking ;P

no idea what the difference in teh 10 diff models they have besides Bluetooth and buttons.
