I am always signed into amazon due to the Prime music and movies.
This link is telling me to now sign in and it won't let me.

Yeah, their site is getting hammered today. I've gotten that same message numerous times.

The thing is I just used my phone to place an order and it worked fine.
Again, I am always logged in there too, because of the Prime Music.

Yeah, I tried to order a pressure cooker, and kept getting stupid errors. If I see one more dog at their site, I'm going to kick mine. ;)

When the site worked again, it was sold out.

Not too pleased with Amazon's servers on Prime Day this year.

Ryzen 2700 for $224.99!
I don't shop at Amazon, if I can help it, but now you're making me wish I did. LOL.

That's actually a little less than I paid for this R5 1600 CPU when it first came out. And the 2700 is practically a new product!

They lowered the price of the MX500 to $139.99!

I forgive them a little bit for making me miss that instant pot ;)

You aren't going to get a better drive anywhere near this price. Buy, buy, buy! :)

Yeah, and having a Prime Visa knock another 7.00 off the drive.

Even better.

I debated getting one when they were $155, but once I saw the new lower price, I ordered one even though I don't really need it right now.

I doubt we will see any quality 1TB SSDs anywhere near that price until possibly Black Friday.

This!

Greetings, esquared, sorry to hear that you lost an SSD, how old was it, and was it due to NAND wearout, controller failure, or power glitch? (Had that happen to a friend with a positively Ancient OCZ drive, power glitch, his SSD died, WHOOPS.)

(In fact, I had a power glitch here today, but thankfully, my somewhat-modern SSD and my HDD survived OK. Edit: I did have a blue-screen in Win10 64-bit the first time I booted it up, though, which is weird, since this rig is at stock, and I wasn't even mining on it at the time.)

Bought it in Nov 2015 BF, but didn't install it until Dec 2016 so it had about 18 months of use.
The last couple months it would just, occasionally, lock up the screen. I would have to do a hard reset and finally, I just couldn't reset anymore. It's dead.
I had an Intel 335 laying around so I used that as a replacement.
It still had 97% life left. I still have 5 months left on the 3 year warranty so I'll get a replacement. Just need to RMA it.

I like that this Crucial has a 5 year warranty on it.

This Prime Day has been a disaster. When it started the site didn't even work for over an hour and now every time I try to search I get the oops message.

Yeah, I agree. It was probably the worst shape I have ever seen Amazon's site in. The only thing I absolutely needed and wanted was a pressure cooker, and I wasn't able to get it because their site kept almost boot looping, and when it stopped doing that, I received a time out error with a picture of a dog.

If you mean the instant pot that deal is live again if you want to give it another shot. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FLYWNYQ

That's the best price I have seen on these. Normal sale price is $70 but some kohl's cardholder deals get it to about $60 or so.

Cool, thanks that's the one!

I just got back from doing driver's ed with my son, and I'm glad I didn't wait too long to check out the forums.

I guess they realized how bad their site sucked today, and are at least making up some of deals

Although I have to blame @Iron Woode for making me want to buy one so badly because he's been telling me all the good stuff he's been cooking in his over the last 2 weeks. :)

did you manage to get one?

I made pulled pork in mine and it was impressive. The GF wants me to make ribs and my co-worker wants me to make rice pudding.
