As noted in this thread, several other resellers were subjected to the same data feed error that resulted in this pricing error, including ProVantage, who pulled the item in much the same way.
Pricing feed errors are beyond any reseller's control, especially when they occur during automated site maintenance on a weekend. We acted promptly, and removed the item on Monday morning, and emailed all forum administrators to please pull the links pointing to the item and site. Unfortunately, we have no other method of removing a posting pointing to an item suffering from a pricing error.
We don't enjoy when things like this happen. The traffic we experienced took down the site negating business from correctly priced items; we've apologized on all forums we can find; we emailed every person who placed an order; and this has pretty much consumed our entire Monday.
We felt we should explain the issue as much as possible on any forums that sent traffic our way. However, we won't be posting any follow up responses on this topic. We corrected the mistake and pulled the item as quickly as possible, and we apologize to all for any inconvenience.

Sounds like a good way to get unethical traffic hits and id's and credit of customers that wouldnt have shopped at provantage if not for this. I should sell 10 dollar videocards on my blog and inject it automated shopping sites for ad revenue :disgust:
