4.5MB write and 18MB read for mine.... which is good for a $3 drive.

Not that it matters for $3, but 4.5MB/s write is about as slow as it gets. It's painfully slow filling up my various Sandisk 4GB drives with same 4.5MB/s writes (my older Sandisk 4GB drives from 4 years ago can do 7.5MB/s). I get 10MB-12MB/s writes out of my "regular" Kingston 8GB drives.
