maybe the univerity got a "school discount"...ibm fobbed off dead pixel laptops or something.

it is dishonest how companies sell dead pixel screens without marking them. selling conusmers defective products for full price. they could just scan each screen to test for dead pixels, and sell the bad ones for a discount. i'm sure its not as if most of their screens are dead pixel screens. simple fact is companies will get away with whatever sh*t they are allowed to.

never buy an lcd online. just buy at a store and u can return if u get a bad screen.
