hi,
i got a used 19" samsung 950p (CRT) off ebay. It's an awesome monitor, *almost* perfect...great monitor.
However it has this tiny, tiny dead pixel in the middle of the screen. (Hardly noticeable). I dont think i'll bother returning since i noticed most of the times there are some dust particles etc. on the screen anyway which are much more apparent than this one tiny dead pixel. (So it's mostly psychological to worry about it guess
)
I was just wondering how common this problem is with CRTs (LCDs/TFTs i know)...because my former monitor had a dead pixel, too, brandnew right out of the box.
Would they even exchange it (assuming i'd send it to Samsung) because of one dead pixel ? Could i even exchange it after i bought the monitor off ebay ? I have all warranty cards etc. but they haven't been sent in...i dont have any receipts, tho. I also know it's a discontinued model......just curious..
greetings
