(DEAD) Peachtree Accounting 2003 $199.99 - $35 instant rebate - $165 MIR = $0.00 At Staples (Starting Sun 8-18)

Add $35 worths of items free or almost free items reach $200 and use a $40 off $200 or $50 off $200 Staples coupon and get paid

Or use a $30 off $150 coupon and make $30 - sales tax = $?.??

Or combine the Peachtree app with your favorite hot item and knock $40 or $50 off the price.
------------------------------------------------------------
(Update #2Bad new, they raised the price on Microsoft Money 2003 by $10 to $29.99 with $10 MIR

(Update #1) Peachtree Accounting 2003 also has a $30 upgrader MIR inside the box. To qualify you need a old Peachtree or a qualifying competitors products. One of products that qualify is Microsoft Money, which is now selling for $29.99 with a $10 MIR. Both Peachtree rebates ask for the UPC from the Peachtree box. You could end up with $10 and a FREE copy of Microsoft Money 2003. Link to Microsoft Money 2003

For Staples coupons do a search on Google.com key word "Staples coupons".
---------------------------------------------------------------
Home office suite, Print center suite or Home design suite $29.99 ea. - $10 instant rebate - $20 mir = $0.00. Rebate should be on the box
Phonemate trimline phone (#488014) $14.99 - $5 instant rebate - $7 mir = $2.99
Philips 40x CDRs 100 pack $39.99 -$10 Instant rebate $20 MIR = $9.99. (possibly another $20 MIR on package)
-----------------------------------------
Post your best "hot" deal idea.
----------------------------------------
A few of my ideas :
Verbatim 40x drive $89.90 - $40 MIR + Peachtree app $165 = "$254.89" - $40 Verbatim MIR - $165 Peachtree MIR - $50 off $200 Staples coupon = $0.00 + taxes on $204.89

How about the True430 430 Watt 6-output, dual fan-cooled power supply (#490204) $99.98 :
Peachtree app. $165 + True430 PS $$99.99 = $264.99 + tax - $165 MIR - $50 off $200 coupon = $49.99 + tax

Or the Antec SX1035B Performance Series Case (#490202) $109.98 :
Peachtree app. $165 + Antec SX1035B $109.98 = $274.99 + tax - $165 MIR - $50 off $200 coupon = $59.98 + tax

I haven't seem the Staples ad for next week, (hopefully fiend will give us a early look at the ad by posting them soon), but the the one that he did mention was the 100PK of Philips CDRs again $39.99 -$10 Instant -$20 MIR = $9.99. The last time Staples had these on sale people were sending in two rebate one $20 rebate to Staples and another $20 rebate to the MFG, using the rebate form on the CDR package looking to make $10.

I wonder about that Philips rebate though. If I recall, most of us did a Philips 100-pack CD-R rebate with Best Buy awhile back ($19 - $5 MIR - $14 MIR), and isn't it like 1 rebate per household or some sort? I think we might have to find some other product.

Could just use the Staples $30 off $150 coupon in-store and make only $30 after the MIR. 16 digit coupon codes can only be used once online I believe ? I have too many CDRs, crappy phones, and crappy speakers anyway

Yes! it a regular Staples/RebateHQ.com rebate.
I bought the Peachtree Accounting 2002 a few months ago free after a $140 MIR and was shocked when I opened my mail box and found the rebate check sitting in there, just three and a half weeks after I dropped the form in the mail box, now that fast.

I did the same deal as you and I swear my rebate was in my hands in the same time frame as yours. :)

Read this carefully: the sale begins 8/18. The rebate begins 8/18. It will not be available until 8/18.

Better yet, used the $40 off $200 printable email coupon.
The 16 digit coupon codes can be used more than once "in-store" and there at least two 5 digit $40 off $200 coupon codes and one $50 off $200 code around for on-line purchases.

I can't get this deal to work online. The $35 IR is actually a coupon (the number is on the product discription page) and is not stackable with any other coupons unless you meet the combined minimum dollar amount. :(

I called Staples about using both coupons.
The CSR saw that I was meeting both coupon requirements, too.

The CSR Supervisor said this: Basically what it comes down to is you can only apply one coupon per item and any left over dollar amount from that purchase can not be used towards anouther item for anouther coupon.

So in this case, do NOT use the $35 coupon on the product page! Instead use a $50 off $200 coupon. Then mail in the rebate and "get paid $15."

Hmm, the use of $50 off $200 requires a minimum of $399 after using the instant saving code for Peachtree. The deal has gone cold for online orders. :( Let's hope this won't be the way they'll have to do it in-store...

Never mind I found the coupon at Google.com

A lot of jobs around here want people proficient in Peachtree, but I have never used it. What better way to work with it when you can get it free after rebate :)

Whoever jumped on this deal should check order status... since mine was placed on "HOLD" according to the csr i just talked to and will automatically cancel in 72hrs.

I don't know if it was the Philips CDR withtwo $20 rebates that did it or the $50 off $200 coupon that everyone is using for this... but maybe staples caught on. Not sure.

Either way, I was gonna cancel this order, so yay.

Since Staples is using a coupon code for the $35 instant rebate Peachtree Accounting 2003 you can only use either the $35 instant rebate or the $50 off $200 coupon not both.

Just using the $50 coupon the deal would be Peachtree Accounting 2003 $199.00 - $165 MIR - $50 off $200 coupon = - $15 back in your pocket before taxes.
--------------------------------------------------------
I did the deal in-store using a $40 off $200 email coupon.
$199.99 Peachtree Accounting
$19.99 Print Center Suite
$19.00 Philips 100 pack CDRs (after a PM to Best Buy $19.99 price)
$239.97 Total cost

-$165.00 Peachtree Accounting MIR
-$35.00 Instant rebate
-$20.00 Print Center Suite MIR
-$20.00 Philips CDR (Staples MIR)
-$20.00 Philips CDR (Mfg MIR)
-$40.00 Staples coupon
$300.00 Total savings

$300 saving - $239.97 cost = $60.03 back in my pocket - sales taxes on $189.97
And possible another $30 from the Peachtree Accounting upgrader MIR

And since Office Depot is near the Staples store I also did the $10 AR 60GB Hard Drive deal too. Add the Best Buy make $20, 256MB memory deal I did Friday and I would have to say it was a very good Ferengi weekend. :D :D :D :D :D
