You could TRY to use the $25 rebate too from amazon. It says that it needs a copy of the Amazon packing slip (which you won't get if you pick it up from CC), but it only requires a copy of the UPC so you could always try:

The question is, if I buy it from CC, do I get the $25 rebate? It says "include a copy of your Amazon.com packing slip", and if you pick it up from CC, you don't get one. On the other hand, their item page says "$75 in rebates", so one can argue that any purchase of this item from their web site should get $25 rebate.

That is awesome. I don't think you will be able to get the Amazon.com rebate because you'll end up with a Circuit City receipt when you pick it up.

this is a price mistake. CC has fixed their price on their own website, but seems they forgot the other channel.. I talked to the cashier when I picked up my unit, and she said" Oh, this is really popular today.. we have sold more than 10...." .. Someone will be fired tomorrow morning, I guess....

LOL, HAHA. I just ordered one for my dad tonight as well. I'm going to get my receipt tomorrow from CC then take it to Best Buy and do a 110% pricematch to get another one for even cheaper. MUAHAHA

I made my order just before Sun midnight (its now 1:27 AM Mon), and got all three emails, two amazon, and final pickup notice for CC. Maybe once CC wakes up I will get a cancel email, but that won't stop me from taking my printed email confirmation to CC and acting entitled.

Assuming that goes through, I don't see why the Amazon rebate should be a problem. I ordered from the amazon web page showing $75 rebate (going and printing a copy of that page now), and paid via CC to Amazon.

BTW when I tried to print the Amazon rebate it took me to a blank page (no rebates listed). Since the Palm rebate was for the M130 and M515, I tried the rebate link from the M130 on Amazon, and bingo got a large rebate form with all the Amazon.com handheld rebates.

I ordered last night (Sunday) around 7 PM pst. from amazon.com for in-store pick up at CC, went down to the store in L.A. around 11 AM this morning and picked it up without a problem, $217 with tax before $50 Palm rebate.

If you got a email saying your order was cancel that may not be the case, go to the store and see if you can still pick it up or call and ask if your on-line order is ready, if they say yes, then go and get it.

I haven't received that cancel email with the $20 offer, but I hope I do, that would make this deal just a little sweeter.

I picked my m515 up this morning at around 11 Had no problems. I then got my cancellation email a few hours later:

I drove about 30 minutes to pick up my order in the even. what I got is a crap $20 GC.

Ordered mine about midnight Sun, picked it up today (Monday) about 2 PM. CC guy was confused at first, checked with manager who said it was price mistake and that my CC had been refunded, BUT........ still let me buy one for $199 and tax. Manager said the refund was due to CC system, when my order hit the store this morning, along with 3 others, they only have 5 minutes to walk over and confirm stock, which he implied they NEVER do, so order gets canceled and they just deal with it when customers come in.

Also I stopped first today at Office Depot and showed my Amazon/CC invoice to the girl at the counter while waiting for my online order to get collected up (screwup PC2100 DDR memory was actually OOS) and I told her, not really looking for a PM, just curious, and she is all "why bother to go to CC, we can PM and include an in ad bonus memory module for the same price. Went sour at checkout due to payment going to Amazon instead of CC directly, but now I have a local CC register receipt, which I need to copy before sending in rebate anyway at OD, so I may give it another whack then.
