The OfficeMax in Poughkeepsie, NY had some in stock. A friend of mine got one for me and himself. Now I have to return my Pacific Digital. Glad I didn't open it.
You cannot back-up DVD movies using the software that comes with in the retail box, you need software like this popular "free" software called DVD Shrink, which you can get here along with a how to Guide: LINKOriginally posted by: girishkr
I got a MicrosAdvantage Drive and installed it, I am trying to make backups of the DVD's and no luck, the web site says that the Copyrighted movies cannot be copied using this drive. I tried copying 4 different movies and had success with only 1. I was able to burn the movies that was not possible with this drive with Maddog drive.
Anyone else experience the same problem with this drive. Any comments will help so that I can decide if I should returnt he drive back
