I found 2 at my OD! Sweet!!!

I want to note that these come with both a firewire cable and a USB cable! That's about $20 or so right there!

These rebates are from the Officemax website, but they don't seem to specify a retailer on them. Are we sure they will work at Office Depot?

Here's the link to the rebate info on the hp site, looks like it's a go:

I wonder if I order this online (at the $279.96 price) using a coupon then opt for pickup at store if they will adjust the price?

What I have done in the past is to printout the on-line shopping cart with the $20 coupon in it, then take it to a store and tell the manager that I tried to buy the item on-line for in store pick up but the web site kept saying it was out of stock in your store, so can I buy it in the store and still use my on-line $20 coupon? When coupon codes don't work the manager will punch in a override code (9999) and put in any discount amount manually. Of course this is YMMV thing.

If anyone in San Diego is interested, I have one left you can have minus the rebate for the purchase price plus sales tax.

Your right, I put in the wrong model, HP doesn't sell dual DVD burners, even their new 8x burner is a single format drive.

I think the rebate form is a bit unclear. Can you get a rebate for each drive? Or is it one or the other?

Hmmm, I bought a 300i for $78 after tax during that whole coupon stacking fiasco.
When you do a "rebuy", do you get to keep your old coupons even though they're expired?

(Limit (1) rebate per qualifying product purchased). Sounds like you can get one rebate for each drive, I would mail them in separately.

I found a 300e at the second Office Depot I went to yesterday. I also used a $15 off coupon I received in the mail.
