Great Deal. Went and was told they were sold out and they couldnt sell display. Gave me a # to call and have it delivered. Went home called the # the lady on the phone told me it was a clearance model and a store only sale. Went back and got it for $234.59 out the store. They took off 10% for it being a display model and then I used the $50 of $250.
dude, you ware the king! i'm totally impressed. can you pm me where you got the coupon? i bought the display model too, they didn't give me any guff about buying it but wouldn't give me a discount. did talk them into throwing in an extra battery pack, tho. seems they had one floating around that didn't go with any camera.
fyi, i tried the indoor/low light shooting and doesn't seem that bad to me - indoor with good light source looks great, low light is grainy but you can still see everything. my complaint is the lack of any easy backlight mode - my 7-year-old canon es900 has a button on the side that does a great job of compensating for back-lit subjects, this cam has nothing! other than that, a great deal. now i just have to decide if i should just buy a firewire card or pop for a whole new motherboard ... of course, you can guess which one i'd like to do!!!
