Dead Note 3

I have an Att Note 3 running stock 5.0

The screen has been cracked but it works, last week the phone just shut off and will not come. I tried a new battery and same thing, it is also not being recognized when hooked to my pc. Any ideas on what to try?

Try hooking up a different charger (preferably a higher wattage one, like a tablet charger) and leave it connected.

Other than that, I don't know what else you could do short of disassembling the device and troubleshoot the internals. If it isn't powering up even with a new battery, then it sounds pretty dead and likely whatever physical shock that cracked the screen damaged a component.

You should be able to connect a higher amp charger and start up the phone without the battery inside. If it doesn't then the board's probably fried and you'll have to find a replacement. A repair store can quickly tell you what's wrong though.
