Perhaps the emails were only sent to those who did not already request a change of address or product.

I must admit, this is a little disappointing. The end of April? Christ, I don't want to wait another freakin' month! At this rate I'll be getting Hardy Heron before Vista.

kind of selfish, don't you think? We're pretty lucky to be receiving this for free.

 you shouldnt be picky if it's free

Yes, we're lucky, but this news is still disappointing. Were you not hoping for an earlier delivery?

The way I look at it, they have taken the time to send out these emails on a couple of occasions and also to answer peoples questions, so they most likely are just getting their eggs in order.
Just give it a little while longer guys.

Got an email saying it is about to ship and should see it by the end of April. On a side note I went to the Microsoft kickoff yesterday and annoyingly they gave out 32bit versions of Ultimate :(

I'm just waiting to receive my copy of the software.

I received all the emails, and I even switched from Vista Ultimate to Office 2007 ultimate and they confirmed it.

Got an email from the Windows Feedback Program team today: they are changing the privacy policy, all the information they collect can now be tied to my name and address provided dueing registration for the program. Time to pull the plug and uninstall the spyware, that was the line I wasn't willing to cross, they have no reason to make this info personally identifiable.

Just went and cleared that software out. What's next, you get a Microsoft employee standing over your shoulder at all times, at the cost of your computer continues to work?

Disappointed to get that email. Thought it would be the long-awaited shipping notification.

Removed the monitoring software. Not interested in a small chance to win a monetary prize, especially with the new lack of privacy policy. I would participate again if the original terms were offered (can always use more stuff).

Yep, same here. Removed it today. Now to sit and wait for Windows Vista Ultimate (for new PC build) and hope it's not the next Windows Millinium Edition that was so very poor (i.e. it sucked). :p

If you redownload the client, when you execute it, there is an option to remove the software.
The removal instructions from Microsoft said it was in "Add/Remove Programs", but it wasn't there.

Waiting for my copy of Vista Ultimate.

Mine was there, under Microsoft Windows Feedback Panel - came right off without a restart required

anyone has a copy of the original privacy agreement? they claimed they were always allowed to tie your info to your name and address, they give you a link...
is there a way to find out what that linked said, say, a month ago?
