Toasty Bros. on YT had basically the same idea; buy a 10100 box cheap with 8GB of RAM, add a 6400.

How about that 580 you had listed for $100. That gives 8gb of GPU memory and performs on par or a lil better.

HP PSU doesn't have an 8-pin connector, nor the wattage to drive a 580.

Edit: Doesn't appear that the board is silk-screened for NVMe, although I didn't take it fully apart. It does have an additional SATA data connector (total of three, two used by 1TB HDD and DVD drive). You need to supply an additional SATA data cable. There's a SATA power cable stub, for an additional drive.

Here's an aftermarket refurb 4th-gen i7 all dolled up with 16GB / 256GB and added RGB for $224. Drop in a different low-profile RX 6400 for $150, and you've got yourself another gaming PC.

Or an i5-6500 with 8GB / 256GB for $189.

Edit: Here's a recert Acer with 10105 /8GB /256GB for $230.

Edit: More Tooasty Bros vids, somewhat related.. Note carefully that the
pC in the vid is using a pre-RX gPU.
