WAHHHHH!!!!

I got one of those catalogs, but it won't let me use the additional $25 off $250, even though my total before tax and shipping is $253. How come?

Really strange...did you just use the free shipping, 10%, and $25 off $100, and then the extra $25? That's what I did...

Don't forget Ebates.

Hopefully this is the full Sony warranteed kit, because if it is a Dell "OEM" forget about getting any warranty work done.

Yep, I get

Coupons that have been entered, but do not meet eligibility requirements or require additional information. Click coupon "Details" link(s) for more information.

I just called and some guy told me I had to use the coupon over the phone because of the additional 10%. WTF? Since when???

I just figured it out. The $25 off $200 isn't stackable, because when I remove it the other one takes over. So I guess $253 is as low as she'll go.

Then what happened for my order? Why did mine go through with all the coupons? I mean, their system doesn't change from customer to customer...

I don't know...here's what the message was when I used the $25 off $200:

Purchases must be made separately from system purchases to be eligible for discount. Terms and conditions apply. Only purchases made through the Software and Peripheral site are eligible for this discount. May not be used in conjunction with other offers. Newegg has some media from a couple manufacturers for ~$2. Don't know what kind of quality they are though. This recordable DVD stuff is still pretty new to me. At least with this recorder, I don't have to worry about which standard (DVD+RW vs. DVD-RW) wins the format war. Unless they come up with another standard.

It's the Dell Home PC Software & Peripherals October 2002 edition...the code is right on the back page, where your mailing address is.

I think only certain people get the 25 off 200 code :(
I have my october catalog, and my 'exciting offer' is free ground 3-5 day shipping on select desktops and notebooks.

I think I'm going to order regardless.

The extra $25 coupon worked for me, so I got mine down to $228.06 shipped, but it availability is not so good. 1-2 weeks?
I remember a fiasco before with the Logitech speakers... hopefully, like that one, I will receive it earlier than they say.

BabyJay,

This product isn't "out" yet so basically everywhere states that they will have stock in a couple weeks.

At 2X it takes about 28 minutes to burn 4.7GB...so @ 4X it should take about 15 min.
