Sounds like BB too.
I ordered one and got a Back-Ordered (1-2 weeks) email from it almost right away
But then BB sent me another email a day later with a tracking #. WTH??
Hope to get the card soon 'cause the game of Crysis needs to play on. :D

Yeah it is MSI though. Id rather spend a bit extra and get a bfg, evga, xfx with a lifetime warranty instead. Nice find though.

Only difference I can see from the MSI 880 to the BFG is ...1. BFG is lifetime warranty and the MSI is 3 yr...

IMHO if it works out of the box it should be fine..Right?

Hell, as long as it works for 3 years, you're fine. I don't know that I've kept a video card over 3 years...hehe! :p

Will return the one (BFG8800GT) bought from BB a week ago, UNOPENED!
Saving ~ $40.
Thanks OP.

You paid 250 for the BFG?

I got in for the 12% off and alittle more off and ended up getting it for 216.99 + Tax :)

Thanks OP in for 2 for SLI goodness. Wow this thanksgiving has been amazing, $150 WD 750GB AAKS, $55 939 SLI MOBO and now 2 8800GTs @ 660 Mhz. This time the winter holidays will rock, now only if I escape alive from finals week.

Ordered the MSI. Thanks Engineer!

I am trying to catch up with ZAP on the number of online orders placed in the past week. I'm up to 10. I'm all RAMed out so I guess I'll move to video cards. :D Too many rebates though. :frown:

NE is selling this for $306 shipped (they are OOS at the moment).

When you do a search for 8800GT on Dell's site it comes up wthi this list that does not include the MSI. Only the XFX and MSI had the instant discount.

This makes it very HOT.

Very nice deal, I doubt these will drop to $225 shipped in the next 2 weeks, let alone the next month.

Hey everyone,

Looking for some advice.....would this be a noticeable upgrade from a 7800GT (256 MB) in my rig now. I just upgraded my processor to a dual core Athlon 4200 and upped the RAM in my machine to 2G. I am wondering if WoW will run better on my Dell 20" with this card.
