pretty cheap for a good work mouse... this is the one with the heavy clicking action on the wheel, i'm pretty sure...

ms intellimouse platinum...

looks like they may have snuck in across the border from their original port of origin... seems that everybody else selling them is outside the us... buy.com is turning into a vulture reseller?

Hmm...buhbuhbuh....I've used that mouse before and it felt cheap. But I guess that suits the price.

i agree with this statement, but i guess for $8 its ok. also the scroll wheel sucks in my opinion.

I used the Wireless version of that mouse for 3 years, I loved that mouse. I do agree that the scroll wheel is pretty annoying, with no 'click' while scrolling. But for $8 SHIPPED that's a fucking steal.

my feelings exactly. In for one (happened to need one and I hate wireless).

I am done with expensive "gaming" mice that eventually become problematic (ie. logitech, Razor). The ms comfort optical mouse I am using is cheap and works reliably. Will get the $8 mouse as a good back up or my other systems. Thanks OP!

Thanks OP. Ordered 2. Just had my main mouse and number one backup both go out, so this was good timing. Give me some time to catch deals on their replacements, and have some halfway decent backups. The tiny laptop mouse is making my fingers hurt.

Love this mouse, but these models have a problem with the left button. I've had 3 of these fail on me over the past few years. What happens is after a while, it will 'click' but won't register. It becomes an intermittent problem which becomes maddening.

I'll probably pick up another 1 or 2, but at this price, they just become disposable.

All my mice have a problem with the left button....I think it's me....
