No such condition on the rebate form. My experience is that most rebate *don't* have the stipulation that you mention.

Well, in that case I would certainly still be extra careful about having a copy or keeping the originals that you can filed away in case they dont honor the rebate. I know that if a rebate is not honored for any reason and you have the proof (such as the UPC you failed to send in) Staples will honor it and give you the cash in hand while other stores will say its your fault too bad.

Thanks, got one Friday. It's probably only an ok card, but the price can't be beat😀
FYI, I had this happen in the past with OM and only recieved a rebate check for the amount of the purchase. Don't know which processor for the rebate tho. Still, free is good, especially when you need one.....
Read on other sites that you may want to download the latest drivers and not use the drivers that comes with it.

FYI. I checked on my rebate yesterday and it didn't show up on the website. I called them and, after quite some checking, they issued you me an "Appeasement" check. You might want to check on your rebate status.

So what? Even if you don't make money on the rebate, it's still free.

Would this be better than the onboard sound of most Nforce2 or KT400 motherboards today (e.g. Gigabyte, Soyo, etc..)?

Just curious...
