Well, looks like these can't be had for any less than $45 now (at ZZF), but still not a terrible deal. Wait a bit, and I bet buy.com will lower the price again (it went up to $57 there!). Here's the ZZF link:

Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker system

I bought these when they were 40 bucks around two weeks ago, and they were a pretty good deal back then. I got them, and I'm pretty happy with them so far. Bass isn't spectacular, but definitely good enough to piss off my fellow dormmates .

At $34, it's pretty hard to pass up. Enjoy!

wow, thats HOT, these are the best bang for buck speakers out there, I know, I own a set, and I paid around $90 Can. for them awhile ago and I have no regrets

I paid $55 for them, $34 is an amazing deal. If they could pull off 10-1 I'd pick up another set right away...

Mmm...hehe I could try to hook up a set to the onboard card and the others to my audigy 2...doubt that'd work but 10-1 would be pretty sweet if it did.

I picked these off the last time for $40 and they were shipped free from buy.com

Great speakers for the price, probably good at $90 as well. Had to get some extensions for the rear speakers as those cables are too short to get around any decent sized office. Only thing they are missing is a remote!

Out of about the 10 posts where i've seen them compared, people overwhelmingly prefer the X-530 for whatever reason. I think there was one person who preferred the Z-640 but i can't remember why.
