you have any clue on the distance it can be used at? I need about 15-20ft

looks like its about 6ft sucks ... but reviews are great on amazon

actually looks like people using it further than 6ft, wonder how responsive it would be at gaming?

you definitely want to be using it in the 6-10ft range

more towards 6. Love it though.

Yeah, but at amazon it's 46 after shipping, without any software. Plus it doesn't help anandtech traders at all:D

And they are really nice keyboards. Gaming is pretty good, and the laser mouse is nice...plus the wrist rest is kinda cushy :p

I'm using it in a small room - it works great at up to 6 feet, maybe farther, but I run into a wall ;)

The RF transceiver is about the size and shape of a USB memory stick - Logitech provides about a 3' cable for it. I imagine if you place the transceiver properly you may get what you want. You may need to add a USB extension cable and place the transciever closer to where you want to use it.

If you need really long range for a mouse only, why not Blueooth? Fry's also has a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 on special for $29.95.

Saw this board at Fry's the other day and it feels kinda weird typing on it. The fact that it's wireless also doesn't go well with me but I may have different needs from some of you folks...

It doesn't have that click that most people are used to or like from the old keyboards, but it's very comfortable to use for a long period of time. Just takes some getting used to initially. On the one I used I found the wireless to be really responsive, but I didn't test in a fast paced game w/ high sensitivity. Overall it's very good.

Wireless is good. I have one of these and it's built very well. Like the poster above, the click has a different sound to it like knocking on hard plastic.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I have the wired version.

The one gripe I have about the keys is actually just with the F-keys. They are harder to press than the rest of the keys on the keyboard. If you use them a lot your fingers get tired pretty quickly.

Anyone who can use a keyboard at 20' must have a pretty nice monitor (15' ?) or cornea transplant from a red tailed hawk.
