All of you winers working for retail stores need to STFU! IF you don't like your money situation and need to use deals, then go back to school or seek better employment. We are all equal as human beings and deserve equal opportunity under the deals category. Just b/c I'm a student and you're a retailer, doesn't mean you should get better deals, espcecially when there is internet ordering involved.
 
then go find your ass a job at a consumer electronics store. it's a good thing i'm not gonna disclose the nVIDIA one and ATI. and damn the person who discloses the Nvidia and ATI reseller program.
 
My order shipped. And to the people complaining about "ruining" the deal... well, eat it. I don't feel bad at all since I've had to deal with my fair share of sales reps who are completely ignorant about the products they sell.

Example: A sales rep at a certain store tried to get me to not buy a plasma because I'd have to refill the gas in a few years.
 
i guess some folks got theirs shipped! well..idi dnt need to buy anything anyways. saving up for non computer speakers.

I still haven't had my order shipped + I emailed them a few days ago saying I wanted it canceled. Nothing has happened from them so far. Just waiting for the FBI to show up at my door.

Ever stopped to think that alot of kids in retail are going to college too? Some people have to work to pay for their college, not get a free ride from mom and dad. Equal oppurtunity has nothing to do with this. You are abusing a system meant for qualified people. You dont walk into Best Buy, CC, kmart, and other retail stores expecting a employee discount do you?

Ever stopped to think that alot of kids in retail are going to college too? Some people have to work to pay for their college, not get a free ride from mom and dad. Equal oppurtunity has nothing to do with this. You are abusing a system meant for qualified people. You dont walk into Best Buy, CC, kmart, and other retail stores expecting a employee discount do you?

You guys are pretty much all a$$holes. It's not about "hoarding" deals from other people, or being "special" so you can get deals other people can't, and it's not about "fair use" of deals so you can save $15 on some speakers to make yourself feel better about your pathetic life. It's about giving a damn about someone other than yourself. It's about the principle. Does anyone else read a thread like that and get sick to your stomach? "Stop whining!" "Get a job!" "Go back to college" "I want my damn discount and F off if you're going to get in my way!" This is America? These are my neighbors? For what? Speakers? Remotes? That's what's important in life?

But hey, I'm a firm believer in karma, so I guess it'll all get sorted out in the end.

This deal was meant for employees of certain retail chain stores Thats why you should STFU before you spout like a fool. This isn't the Bill of Rights, its Logitech Reseller Program rules.

Its not my concern if the whole world gets in on this deal, but you shouldn't go off about equality under the deal category and that you deserve sh#t.
 
wow...i saw this thread..didn't order, but d@mn..this thread has gone sour...i have to admit, the prices were tempting, but hey...i thought we're all here on AT to help each other. And yes, that's get deals, but not at the expense of other ATOTers.

I'm on a Hot deal or a price-mistake like white on rice. But, hey...the way I see it, the company's still not losing any money because #1, if they were: they'd cancel my order. Our "hot deals" that still ship usually only ship because the company we ordered from still make a margin or break-even. Otherwise, i guarantee they will NOT ship for "customer satisfaction". It's all about the bottom line.

But with this deal, we're actually hurting ourselves. I, myself, don't work in a retail store but have many friends who do, and I'd hate for them to lose their purchasing privileges which they rightfully deserve for what?...so I can get a Mouse or Keyboard half off?

Seriously...and this goes out only to those ppl who truly don't understand...treat ATOT like your driver's license...IT'S A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT. If you get a deal, then :beer: to you. If you don't, move on. Just don't run other members over in the progress. Remember, your new toy will only last as long as the next new deal.

Mom and dad certainly did not pay for my college education; I work 40hrs a week t go to college. I didn't mean to come off so harsh, but as someone else put it, what is the point of hoarding all these deals? Retailers commonly cancel incentive programs without any abuse, and I am sure this one is no exception. All of you retailers out there have saved more money thru this website and others like it than any retailer discount could ever offer. If you have access to a discount others can use, pay it forward and let people take advantage. This site wouldn't be worth a flip if we all hoarded out finds.

actually logitech used to have this going for years for ppl who worked in retail that sold their products but about 6-8months ago the site was shut down because to many non-retail ppl were ordering, now it looks like they tried to be nice again and the same thing happened. Oh and how do I know this is why they shut it down, cause they sent a email last time letting ppl know that they had to shut the site down. I don't really care though cause I got in on this a long time ago and i'm enjoying my 680s quite nicely, ty.

This section of the forums would be dead without legit deals. It might turn into FW if these continue to pop up. Im not "owed" a fvcking thing for working retail...thats my choice, but people who don't sure as hell don't deserve the deal more than myself or any of my coworkers. This site probably would have been valid for a couple more weeks, a month or 2, who knows? Dead in 2 days

Abuse will also make manufactures be less likely to offer these kinds of things in the future as shoRunner already pointed out.

 
The company I work for has a specific logon for that site, as well as MANY others. I find it funny how people think they are owed discounts! I mean, my employer was generous enough to set up various employee discounts with various retailers, etc. and that is one of the perks for working for them. I just don't abuse it or think it is owed to me, it is a bonus and something that I know can dissapear at any time.
