I work for a large retail chain and this information is on our company intranet via accomodations.

As far as I know, Logitech didn't do any sort of company check, as my order was shipped the next morning.

However, it clearly states you must be working for a Logitech reseller, otherwise they will cancel your order. The only reason Logitech does this is to inform retail employees about their products, and why to suggest them over other brands. Honestly, for all the sh@t I receive from customers (not all of them), I believe that this "deal" should be solely for those that actually qualify. Most other retail employees would feel the same way.
