I recently moved MB and company to a more compact ATX case (used). On the front panel, the Power and Reset buttons work fine and the card reader seems to be in order. Same with the USB plugs. However, despite following my MB makers diagram, I cannot get the case LEDs to function.
The new case's HDD LED connectors had only two openings, where the old was 3 (which matched the diagram) so I stole the HDD LED from my old case and plugged it in. Still no love. No ideas on why the Power LED won't work.
What could potentially stop these LEDs from getting power? Obviously, they could have been DOA, but the person who gave me the case says he had no problems. Other pins on the FPanel socket work. Why not these two? (well 5, technically)
The PC powers and boots fine. It's just the dang lights (which I guess is not crucial, but I do like to see when my HDD is working).
Any ideas are very much appreciated!
Here's my F Panel Diagram:
