Here's a Czech review comparing this one with the other 6800s, the x800s and 9800pros

EDIT: I hope you guys that ordered get it OK. 🙂

Has anyone actually ordered from this place?
They have a grand total of "5" review on resellerratings.com.
I"m sorry, but i have a hard time ordering from a place that doesn't have
an 800 phone number and only 5 reviews.
Looks like a great deal though if it's actually true. Anyone tried yet?

If I hadn't just bought a car, I'd jump on this.
$235 for a new gen video card, and performs better than a 9800 pro, and in some cases, an x800. Argh.

You can't order using a credit card online, apparently you have to fax them your credit card number or some such thing.

Also, the picture they have up is of the wrong card, it is of the 256 meg 6800 ultra.

This is what WHOIS comes up with. It's about a 30 minute drive from where I live. I may take a ride out there this weekend.

The regular retail price for these are 299$.....

nice deal! this looks worth biting for on Novapcs.com . It better not be gone later in the day when I have access to a Credit Card!

I think this card has a beastly two slot cooler on it if I'm not mistaken. Should be fun to oc' like the older Leadteks from back in the day... Im kinda scared to do it at first anyways.

Specs found from a German website:
Herstellerlink.de : Leadtek
Interface: AGP 3,0 (8x)
Chip set: NVIDIA NV40 (GeForce 6800 series)
Clock frequency: 325 MHz
Manufacturing process: 0.13 µm
Pixel pipelines: 12
Memory: 128MB
Storing act: 350MHz (GDR 700MHz)
Memory type: Southern German Broadcasting Corporation to GDR
Memory binding: 256 bits
Ramdac: 2x 400 MHz
Cooling: Actively
Exits: 1x VGA/1x DVI/1x TV Out
Manufacturer product left: missing ( product left announce )

I'm still tryin to figure out what the heck that thing about memory is?

I gave it a try. $248.75 shipped to KS via Fedex 2-day. If the card performs as it did in that review above then this is a killer deal. I only found one other US based dealer selling the card and they wanted $350 for it:

P.S. This model is a single slot and you dont have to fax your credit card unless you are shipping to an address not registered for the card.

It seems like the specs match with the referance model. Does anyone know if you can enable the extra 4 pipelines? I began reading something that said the cards were physically similar, only these things had the pipes disabled... I'm still not sure though.]

Here's a story over on Firing Squad that was found on google. I think it mentioned ledteks card
http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/geforce_6800_performance_and_overclocking/default.asp

The one thing thats gunna hurt this a little bit when compared to the higher cards is its memory bandwidth. 700mhz gets it 23.4gb/s. Still looks promising

I'd like to point out that novapcs and galaxy3000 have very similar phone numbers, 516/876-0818 and 516/876-8881. Seems like they might both be the same company. Why else would they be the only ones on the internet to be selling this card, at the same price, and both showing the same incorrect photo.

My guess also would be they are the same company, websites are setup the same although slighly different wording and graphics/design, product lineup and pricing is the same, but probably the most convincing arguement would be they have the same address:

125 State Street, Westbury NY 11590 (located under contact us section)

Yep, it's gone.

I had it in my shopping cart when it disappeared from the main site, which was fine since I had decided not to get it anyway at least at the moment. I tried to take a few steps towards putting the sale through to see what would happen, and I noticed that the price in the shopping cart had gone UP to $335.

So $235 must have been a mistake.

Since this is a possibly dodgy little known retailer, I wouldn't have wanted to put a sale through for a mistaken price anyway. Highly unlikely they'd honor the lower price, I might well have ended up with the higher price charged to my credit card.

I called them shortly after I placed my order and they said even though it said it was in stock they in fact did not have them in and were expecting them on Thursday or Friday. I went ahead and left my order in, but if I don't see it shipped by Monday I will cancel it.

I have bought MANY things from them. They used to be 8 blocks from where I used to live in Great Neck, Long Island, NY. They are VERY nice people. I can let you all know that I have had ZERO problems with them. They have moved to Westbury and now are in a warehouse twice the size of the one in Great Neck. (And about half the rent). A gentleman by the name of Scott is Manager of Sales and is a pleasure to talk to. If you call them he is extension 109.
