Thanks MM. Can alway use some more cheap RAM and I can move the CD-Rs locally for about $10, soo... ;)

Nice to see that on the $5 rebate on the CD-Rs OD specifies they will accept a copy of the UPC. While I am not real enthusiastic about OD MIRs, this takes a considerable amount of the doubt away.

Hmmm. I can't seem to get the OD site to take my order. All it wants to do is print a "list" to take to B&M store. (And RAM is not showing up at online store.) Any idea where I'm off? Or if I go to store, how to I use the coupon?

go to the OD site and click on "Order by Item #" tab on top of the page, on the next page, enter the item number and quantity, then click on "Add to cart" button, you are on your way.

That depends on what chips are on the PCB....

Do a search for the thread from two (2) weeks ago and look for the post on "WinBond chips"....

Yes! there's still a $15 off $50 coupon aroumd and NO! this is not B&M, you buy on-line and choose in-store pick up, or you can have it deliveried but it might take 3 days.

What a heck?? Ii ordered MEMOREX CD-R 50-PK "just like you said", then I went to the rebate center and the office depot rebate says $5 not $15.

Searching further, there seems to be another one for $10, does this mean there are two rebates each requiring original UPC for CDRs?

Thanks. 15 off 50 worked since i used the 20 off 75 for that $30 after MIR canon i320 printer yesterday. Came out to the same price, too: $24.99 after adding $1.19 of filler paper.

The $5 memorex rebate that goes to Office Depot will accept a copy of the UPC, Link to $5 Office Depot rebate and send the original UPC in with the mfg $10 rebate link to mfg $10 rebate.

This one's from the Office Max thread but no one answered there so does anyone here know "why is Kingston better then K-Byte, is it because K-Byte sucks or is it because the actual chips used are made somewhere else, by someone else (better quality, etc.)

And if anyone else knows specs regarding this, please share because we'll see other deals by both Kingston and K-Byte so help us out."

EDIT: Got it today. Kingston brand used Hynix chips this time if that means anything to anybody.
