Microcenter lists the Core i7 2700K LGA 1155 Boxed Processor for $329.99 online and when added to cart.

There main page has a banner showing its $179.99. Make them honor the price in-store. Sells for $369.99 at Newegg

I seriously doubt they will honor.
I've refreshed the page 20+ times and have yet to get that particular one to come up.

I actually got that page to come up after refreshing like a mental patient. But the 2500k is coming up at that price too, the 2600 is coming up as $250, and the 2600k as $280. Seems unlikely but someone should try it if they live nearby. I have one nearby, but I'm in DC for work today.

Someone should call to see if this in-store promotion is TGTBT.

No MC anywhere near me btw.

Edit: N/M. All indication points to misprint. MC has some insanely hot deals in the past though.

Odds of me printing out the screen print and arguing with them for that price are most likely 0, but what the hell... I have nothing else to do after work :p

Their posts were just too quick and no info on how hard or easy it was to get to the store and back. Plus which stores.

I've got a MC 5 minutes from me.

I chatted with the web live help, who assured me it would ring up at $179.99 in the store without talking to a manager.

I sent that web chat to my phone and went to the store.

I ended up talking to a manager, who took maybe 10 minutes to verify what was going on, and he honored the price; walked me to the register and did a manual price adjustment.

I got the last one on the shelf (cage, actually) in STL though others have said the inventory system says there are several still in stock.

It's a seriously YMMV deal, but it worked out for me.

Kudos, my friend

Edit: anyone going to try to score one @ the Philly store?
