I bought the 100 lumens model for my mother this past Christmas:

It is very well constructed and throws out a nice bright light. Not too bad on batteries either. She loves it and she's 90 years old.

I feel that the 50 lumens model will be equally well built, but I think the brightness may be lacking somewhat. But if 50 lumens seems sufficient for your needs, I think you will probably like the build quality of the Icon light.

Received the Rogue 1 today. Constructed to last a lifetime or more. The included lanyard is also very well made. Throws a nice light, for 50 lumens.
