Really sorry I posted this so late. Right now Staples has the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad for sale at 35 dollars w/ 10 dollar rebate. There also is a $15 off 75 coupon, look around its easy to find. Go to staples buy 2 of these, ask to speak to the manager so that you can get two receipts for the 2 products(2 rebates). Be sure to add a 5 dollar filler though, I got 2 of those calculators (free AR). You're total cost AR will be 35 bucks for 2! Buyer beware, some of the staples will not allow you to get two receipts so YMMV.

Logitech

I couldn't find this on the website, maybe someone else can.

I think the sale is over, sorry about the late posting

This is a nice gamepad but be forwarned, it eats batteries like there's no tomorrow. If you use rechargeables, be prepared to replace then daily with heavy use.

maybe your rechargables just arent high NiMH?

I use 1950 NiMH Energizers in mine and use it daily, i only have to charge them about once ever week and a half

I just got mine today. Before I was using a PS2 gamepad w/USB adaptor. This one is a lot better esp for the computer...
Pro's
Good Ergonomics (although I admit its a little too big for my hands)
Good compatibility (I've played all my games w/o any trouble in XP)
Much nicer rumble feel than the PS2 controller
Con's
I like the PS2 controller buttons better
A bit heavy
Can't confirm but it's supposedly uses batteries really fast

Overall, I like it better than what I was using before. Too bad I think the sale ends tommorow, sorry again for not posting this sooner.

The only drawback to this?

You can't use two of these gamepads in the same area at the same time. There's no way to change the channels that they use. They don't interfere with 2.4Ghz phones, or with a 802.11b/g network, but it is absolutely impossible to use more than one at a time.

So yeah, it's a hot deal if you plan on giving one as a gift to somebody. :)

i have to disagree... i've been using two of these with friends on the same computer without any problems, so you can get at least two to work. I didn't do anything fancy - just plugged them in and they both worked simultaneously. I've been considering picking up more - i hope there are more than two channels
