The TD $199 4670k and the memory/mobo deal would have been the best combo ever. Especially for those who don't have a microcenter.

Both deals were actually $100 off, so they were equally good.

What you both are talking about is combining it with a deal at another vendor, which is fine of course.

In fact, because I wanted mATX, I myself just purchased a 4670K from TD, along with a Gryphon from NE.

Strange - the offer says it's good through July 31st, and yet all of the combos are "sold out", despite each motherboard and CPU being in stock.

It's either a glitch or Newegg having a change of heart.

...but Newegg screwed up and put two promotions on it at once, and they can't both apply. So instead you get the TUF armor for free.

I've been testing a new 4670K system using a Gryphon. It's been great, but I haven't started overclocking yet.

Newegg ninja-edited the ending date of the latest promo. It was originally stated to end July 31. Now if you go to the page is says it ended July 18.
