The rebate form has an "E" on it. That means we should be able to register at EasierRebates.com, but I can't find the rebate there.

Anyone able to submit online? Also, as someone else mentioned, the form says "Up to $49.99". This is the first mystery rebate I have ever submitted ...
 
All right, data from Memorex 128 SD and 128 CF (no speeds written on them) with my e740 transferring a 10.3MB file from main mem to cards:

SD 18.34s
CF 19.56s
The SD felt a tad faster with the percents scrolling faster.

Good to know but unfortunately it's out of stock now. 🙁 Bummer...I know I could get the 1935 but I want some form of wireless, even Bluetooth.

just got mine in the mail today. not bad, for 200 bucks AR. i do notice the little yellow tint on the screen. is it just me, or is the screen not as bright as the 2215?
 
I was wondering about the "up to $49.99" rebate, so I called the rebate number. The CSR told me he had just received a memo on this, and that the rebate was only valid for in-store purchases! I said the rebate was listed on the screen from which I ordered. He told me to call Office Max customer service. I did, and talked to a very nice CSR named Lori. She said the rebate is certainly valid for on-line purchases. She said to send it in, and contact them again if it gets rejected. I told her to contact the Rebate Co. because the guy said he had a "memo" on it, and so the Rebate Co. needed to be straightened out, not just this one guy. She said she would talk to them.

i'm gonna go and exchange the one i got in the mail at the store, in hopes the yellow isn't as bad as it is my current one. i hear it varies from unit to unit. everyone wish me luck
 
Man, I got this last tuesday, and dropped it like only 2 hrs after opening it. I was soooo pissed. It's got like 5 scratches, and the on/off button doesn't work very well now. 🙁 The unit is so small... i'm not used to having such a small pda. This makes it easy to drop. Also, the metal casing being kinda slippery doesn't help either.

Did any of you guys buy the hp CarePaq replacement warranty with this? Here's a listing of all the prices One year coverage with accidental coverage is 100 bucks! Two years is 160. I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Also, anyone know of any good cases for the 1945 that won't add too much to the overall size? I want it to be protected, but I don't want to have my pockets bulge just for that.
 
I was wondering if anyone who got in on this deal but hasn't sent in their rebate in yet could do me a HUGE favor. I was preparing to send in my rebate today when I suddenly realized that I THREW AWAY THE ENTIRE PACKAGE THAT THE CRADLE CAME IN, WHICH INCLUDES THE UPC NEEDED TO GET THE REBATE!!! ARGH:| I called in the rebate center, and they said that they need at least a copy of both upc symbols (the iPaq and the cradle) in order to recieve the rebate. So, I was wondering if any of you who haven't mailed off the upc of the cradle could scan or take a picture of it and email me? I would appreciate it sooooo much. Thanks a million in advance!
