Hot! Dell home has the Lexar 1GB Jump Drive Sport USB 2.0 for a low $41.16 after $20 rebate + free shipping.

This JumpDrive Sport features a durable rubber cap that wraps securely around the device, making it more impact-resistant and protecting the cap from accidental loss.

Holy Schmoly OP, that's an incredible price......

When are these prices going to stop dropping? I'm debating jumping on this one or waiting even longer.....hrrrmmmmmm

Well, it's not slow. Half the time I'm transferring via USB 1.1, which is about 1.5MB/sec max theoretical (1MB/sec is more common on reads, half that on writes)

if you want, u can actually also use this with the mp3 attachment Lexar made for this usb drive as well.

Tech product prices are always dropping. You won't know the price for tomorrow most of the time. If you know the price is hot at the time you buy it, it's hot. 🙂

I've got the JumpDrive Sport 512mb that has the same spec. For a test, just moved a folder of 481mb w/~120 files over to it in 2min 33 sec.

How snug is the cap? I use the loop to attach to my keychain, however since the loop is on the cap I'm worried about the USB drive falling out at some point.

I have the 256MB SportDrive and I LOVE IT! The rubber cap keeps it very secure & protected on a keychain.

I'm drooling over that $41 price for 1Gb, as my 256MB cost me $27 just 3 months ago. ugh!

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo tempting ...... this is $10 cheaper than the deal posted only two weeks ago, but its cheaper initially just with a smaller MIR.

Dell rebates are trustworthy, in my experience...... I emphasize *MY* in preparation for the naysayers... 🙂
