Doubt that's the reason, but this may mean they had some problem processing your payment method - and yes it means your order would not be filled. Happened to me more than once! :| They never bothered contacting me.

My Chase MC has been charged. My two confirmation e-mails had two amounts for sales tax, the second one was about 10 bucks higher. Of course I actually got charged the higher amount.

I received the sales receipt in the mail from Dell today. I'm expecting an e-mail with a shipping notice by the end of the week!

I ordered mine on Thursday 4/10, and I think they attempted delivery today, but I wasn't home :| I didn't get a shipment email from Dell though, and it doesn't show up in my order history... weird... Airborne express left a door tag w/ my tracking #, and this is what the tracking # said:

Mine shipped from Nashville. Go to the Dell website, and check your order status. If it has shipped, you might be able to get a tracking number. It took a day after shipping for my tracking number to show up. By then it was already out for delivery on the UPS truck.

how about some opinions about the LCD

I just hooked up my 18 lcd yestaurday, didn't really spend too much time with it. overall, the image is pretty good, clear type works great. You can use MS's clear type web page for more clear type settings. There's no way to adjust the height, you can only tilt the screen. also, you can't rotate the screen to make it a portrait view, no ratation at all in fact. however, the additional turning base at the bottom makes it really easy to turn. The DVI and analog dual input is a plus. i was able to use the dvi for my machine, and vga for my tv genie, which is this external tv viewing device works by itself. i'll try some games tonight, but i'm pretty sure there'll be no ghosting since some owners already stated that.

as of today 4/15/03, 400 for a 18in LCD is a great deal, i'm happy with my buy. thanks for the deal
