Dang, my text got lost! Anyway, I snagged a coupon on f@tw@llet and snapped up a monitor. Projected ship date is the 16th, but hopefully it will be sooner than that.

I got one confirmation at around $395 with Alabama sales tax, and a second confirmation where the tax went up $10. 😕

I was trying to decide between this 1800FP and the WallyWorld Microtek 18"...but now that the Dell is cheaper it's a no brainer! Thanks vtqanh! 😀
 
I scored two...

Now, I have a GF4 Ti4200. 1 DVI and 1 Analog.

1. Does that mean 1 lcd will have a DVI quality and the other one a Analog Quality?
2. Then does that mean i have to buy a Video Card with 2 DVIs?
3. If so, where can I go to do some research on the 2 DVI vid cards?

How long has this monitor been on the market? It seems like this and the 2000FP have been around forever - shouldn't new ones be coming out with FFP (or TTF.. ?) that would dramatically increase response time?

 
Yep ..comes with both DVI and analog cable ... I got in on that deal last time it was at that price ..then I got on the Dell 4550 deal .. now I have the whole nine yard ...

WOW I just read about switching between 2 computers .. one analog one digital !! how do you do that .. I want to be able to hook up my old PC sometimes ..especially that I am going to try Linux on my old box once I format my drive.. do they have drivers for Linux for that monitor !?

i tried adding the monitor to my cart, still shows up as 599.99.. anyone else having this problem? i am on Small Business side..but it isnt showing up as 449.99. 🙁

Are you sure you're on Small Business? I just tried and it worked. It is now showing up as 449 even before being added to the cart (this morning i had to add it to the cart to get the 549 price to show up)
 
i want in on this but GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH its hard to find a 15% of coupon code... if somebody can PM me and give me a little help trying to find one it would be appreciated!

i think im going to go for the 2000FP... that would be $1000 - $300 = $700 plus tax!! WHOOHOO!!! thats a deal!
 
well, the price is soooooooo much cheaper than all the other 20" models out there... and from what i hear its a pretty good display too...
 
it seems that if you don't have a 15% off coupon code, you're out of luck unless you're buying the LCDs that have been selected for the 15% off automatic discount on the DellSB specials page. DOH
 
This might not belong here, but what must you do to get this 15% coupon? I've registered with the dell small businesses website, is it too late to receive this coupon?

Like the few others here asking, I too would appreciate a 15% coupon for this deal, if someone has no plans of using theirs by tomorrow (expires 4/11/03). Thanks!

I checked and it looks like the 20 incher does not have the $150 instant rebate. You could try hanging out at chubby youknowwhat for a 15%er, that worked for me.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for mine to ship on or before 4/16.

DellSB says they will mail you a package and that may include a 15% off coupon. You could wait for it and let the hot deal slip through.

or go to the For Sale/Trade forum and seek out a seller for his/her 15% off coupon.
 
I have the 1800FP. If you have analog that's fine, but DVI is very nice (no need to mess with settings). Forget what the specs say--I've noticed no ghosting in games (1st person shooter or otherwise). Text is razor sharp using DVI, which is good, because Clear Type does not work well with this monitor. Colors are rich and vibrant.

Bottom line: imo the best LCD monitor for the price at this point in time. Get it. You can always sell this monitor for a hundred or two when the latest and greatest LCD technology arrives.

ok, i got my code and ordered my 20" LCD yeah baby!! it came to $765 total including tax and shipping... brand new from DELL... i call this a scorcher of a deal!!

for you guys looking for codes... it is a hard thing to do but go on over to f#t W#ll#T and put in your request... its very cheesy but for $150 savings it was worth it to me... go to their forums.. good luck!!
 
Has anyone checked if this can be combined with the stackable $40 off $350 coupon that surfaced today? Would make it even better. Great monitor btw

that code is for Dell Home...this deal only works in Dell Small Business
