Okay, this is my first hot deal I have posted. Compusa has Norton Antivirus 2004 for 50.00 + 20.00 trade up rebate. Right now they have a Print this ad promotion going on, so basically print this off their website and bring it in to the store. That's 30% off all Norton Products...
50.00
-30% off Print this ad promotion
35.00
-20.00 Trade Up rebate
Final Price 15.00

Not bad for my first deal?

EDIT: Hotter deal for the PRO version, thanks to Justme7 for the info
$69.99 -30% off Print this ad promotion
$48.99 -$30 Symantec Upgrade rebate
Final Price = $18.99

If you have 2 computers the Pro version is a better deal.
You get licenses for installing on 2 computers. The Pro version also has wipe and undelete tools that the regular version doesn't.

$69.99 -30% off Print this ad promotion
= $48.99 -$30 Symantec Upgrade rebate
Final Price = $18.99

Are there any worthwhile benefits to upgrading from 2003 to 2004 (in addition to another year of updates.)

There is no difference. An AV is an AV. Just bc its a year older doesnt mena whats important (the definitions) is outdated. It might have a little new option here and there, but its nothing spectacular. I actually find it a bloated recourse hog. Thats why I use Panda AV.

cool, never heard of panda.

couple questions, does the Home version have unlimited updates (could tell on website), and do you know if it scans emails automatically when using web2pop at the same time? (this is why I've stuck to nav, avg and avast don't scan incoming mail with web2pop).
