Look at the regular price $130 for an unsupported license, wow!

you're telling me. i didnt know getting those at the slasher prices was such a lucrative deal.. i was wondering what you were going to do with 8 licenses.. :p

I have REALLY wanted Hivemail ever since discovering it a few months ago and I balked at their really high price. I'm VERY glad that I didn't pay $130 a few months ago, otherwise I'd never forgive myself.

So when I saw this was selling for $25 I knew these would practically sell themselves, only question is do I keep 2 or 3 ...

Like Rossman said, I have two licenses that I can let go right now. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me. Heck, depending on your offer, I'll even install it for you. :)

i wouldn't recomment them at all, i was with them for a year or so.
i had 8 days straight of downtime, they never responded to the many emails i sent regarding the downtime.
when i was searching for info on them i realized their address is a mail forwarding service that specializes in giving foreign business' a US mailing address.

does hivemail allow users to sign up for their own email account? and change their own password?
if so, i'd be interested in getting a license from someone. you can PM me with offers.

thanks

Yes users can create their own e-mail accounts and you can even auto approve (but I would not recommend this because of SPAMMERS who will take advantage of your domain).

Not sure if you can change your own password or not.

That was the initial offering at $25. I was interested in the current bid/ask. They were trading around $40 the last I heard.

I'd say Hivemail licenses will easily sell for $40 but you could get up to $80 for them.

my college (Cornell University) uses IMP, trust me... it sucks major AZZ... its anything but user-friendly (maybe its the way they have it set up), but i use PINE instead of IMP. Its faster, and user friendly...

Why Cornell uses IMP, I will never understand. It was absolutely terrible and I felt bad every time I saw a student use it. Telnet/Pine was definitely the way to go.

I have yet to configure my Hivemail, I'm hoping I get the time soon, because from the demo, it looks beautiful and very user friendly.

haha, damn, is there going to be enough supply to meet the demand? I guess if there isn't, the price will just go up until the supply and demand curves meet. :)

Is Hivemail really that good compare to Squirrelmail (SM)? I tried the demo myself and only found better skin interface than SM; other than that, nothing SM plugins can¡¦t handle. The best thing is SM is free but needs to tweak to get better.

Any suggestion or comparison?

I accidently found this. Funny!
