I drove home today to find this pleasant surprise in my driveway.

It's fairly intact, doesn't looks squished or anything... had flies in its mouth, nasty. I think it was sleeping beneath my car this morning when I pulled out, it might have been left as a present by a local pet, or it was smacked by a car on the road and crawled into the driveway.

Should I just put on some rubber gloves and chunk it in the trash?

I've tried call my tiny little one traffic light town's Dept of Public Works already and no answer.

Go get a casket, invite the neighbors over (all of them), hold a funeral service (BBQ), then bury Mr. Squirrel in neighbors back yard.

If that's too complicated, just throw it in your neighbors yard.....😀

The town bitched at me last time I left put a gopher in the trash that I killed. Friggin nazis...

The guy at the DPW told me to leave it on the road and they'll pick it up. Grabbed my rubber gloves, shooed away the flies, and grabbed the bloody (literally) rodent and chucked in on the side of the road.

When I grabbed it the fur came off, it was already decomposing... hehehehe
