First i update through bios update utilities via the internet, i did everything before i begin like close all window disable firewall and i even uninstal internet virus, i tried several time without success it alway gave me an error message, so i give up and update through Q-flash utility. Everything went fine completely success, but when i reboot got blank screen and the stystem unable to start also remove the battery and clear cmos. Will take any help and ask the pro how to recovery the bad bios flash. Thanks inadvance

cant recover, bios is fried, replace the mobo under warranty or RMA, i had a dead bios with the same board but got it by changing some wrong voltage setting in the bios, not updating it, i used @bios program and update to the F8a bios on my second replacement mobo fine after that

Do BIOSes nowadays have that feature where you can flash it without video by using a floppy? Like the BIOS has a write protected bootblock where upon boot it searches for specific ROM and then writes it to flash?

I think my Intel Venus PPro mobo had it lol.

Can't believe that. When in doubt just lie :)

"Umm...What's flashing the bios?...I just came home one day, turned it on and all I got was a black screen thingy"...LOL. Let them sort it out.

What's the worst that could happen? You end up with nothing...Like you have right now :)

The worst thing you can do (IMHO..If I have one...ROFL) is use their internet/automatic flashing stuff to get a bios update. ALWAYS do it yourself via a boot disc. Floppy/CD whatever. Just not their no-brainer methods. They never work. Well ok. Never say never. But you get the point. I've flashed a thousand times (was a pc business owner...) and NEVER from anything but a floppy or bootable CD. I've never had a bad flash either. But you can read tons of stories about the Internet way etc.

Back to lying...LOL... If (neh, when) I blow my cpu from overclocking do you think I'm going to tell Intel? BAHAHAHA. I'll be like "what's overclocking? I came home and the screen was black. I can't get the PC to come back on. I had X shop check out the PC, they plopped in a new cpu and it fired right up...They told me to RMA my cpu". HEHEHE. Or since I'm an intel reseller "I've tried the chip in X and Y board and no go...replaced with another chip and no problem with the same board now". But you get the point. LIE.

Gigabyte has a 3yr warranty. Or send it to newegg if you bought it there. There's is a year if memory serves. I have the P35-DS3R for the record. Qflash and @bios are just like the rest. JUNK. I don't know of a way to recover from your problem and I don't think you can do it without video.

Was the power unplugged when you removed the battery? Just asking. That would make a clear cmos moot. Do it again if not (without power plugged in that is).

One more thing. When you turn it on and get a blank screen hold the power button for 4seconds and see if it goes off. Rinse and repeat a few times. On some boards they will reset themselves to defaults assuming you screwed something up. I'm not sure about this board as I haven't had that problem with any I've sold/built.

This sometimes also works if when you're on that blank screen try multiple resets simulating a crash of the system during post. That kicks in reset defaults on some boards too. Again haven't had a problem on your model so I'm not sure about auto-recovery crap on it, and don't bring this up on the phone. Let them cough it up and ask you to do it if there is a way (when calling to rma it). Just act dumb and let them walk you through stuff. If you let them know you understand what flashing is you're already guilty in their book.

Of course you can always call back and get another tech if you already did that. But just avoid it to begin with :sun:
