You can buy a refurb Nuvi 650 - far better in many ways, for $199 HERE:
http://www.edgegps.com/eCart/v...tem.html?idProduct=565
or if you really want a 200-series, try here:
http://www.actiongps.com/Shop/...roductType/refurbished

I've bought one at EdgeGPS and several at actionGPS.com, they are both Garmin retailers and the units carry the same 1-year factory warranty. All have had the same accessories, software and unlock codes as the new ones I've bought, and all look brand new. Matter of fact, the only difference I've noticed is the box is slightly different.

As for the map updates, new and refurbs often ship with previous years maps. Once you install, register and unlock the included map disk you can go online to MyGarmin and request a free update (you get one update free) under the "Upgrade" link. They will send you a free DVD with the most up to date maps. Just go back online with the registration number when it arrives, click on the same uprade link in MyGarmin as before, and when you enter the new disk code you will receive a new unlock code. Sounds confusing and it is (listening Garmin?), but once you know the above it is a snap.
